18.3 ATS4 Set Response Formatting Character
Description: The ATS4 command determines the character generated by the TA for result code and
information text, along with the ATS3 parameter.
Syntax: Read Command ATS4?
Response: <n>
OK
Write Command: ATS4=<n>
Response: OK
ERROR
Parameter:
<n> This parameter can be stored with AT&W and can be displayed with AT&V.
Response formatting character
000....127 Default = 10. This is the factory default value and can be restored to '10' with AT&F.
Notes:
Whenever you change the setting take into account that the new value has no effect on the URC
“^SHUTDOWN”.
This command is not PIN protected.
This command is supported in airplane mode.
18.4 ATS5 Write Command Line Editing Character
Description: This parameter setting determines the character recognized by TA as a request to delete the
immediately preceding character from the command line.
Syntax: Read Command: ATS5?
Response: <n>
OK
Write Command: ATS5=<n>
Response: OK
ERROR
Parameter:
<n> This parameter can be stored with AT&W and can be displayed with AT&V.
Command line editing character
000....127 Default = 8. This is the factory default value and can be restored to '8' with AT&F.
Notes:
This command is not PIN protected.
This command is supported in airplane mode.
