Chapter 17 – Hardware-Related
Commands
The AT Commands described in this chapter are related to the Multi-Tech wireless device’s hardware interface.
17.1 AT+CCLK Real Time Clock
Syntax: Test Command: AT+CCLK=?
Response: OK
Read Command: AT+CCLK?
Response: +CCLK: <time>

Parameter:
<time>
Format is “yy/mm/dd,hh:mm:ss”, where the characters indicate the two last digits of the year, followed by month,
day, hour, minutes, seconds; for example 6

of July 2005, 22:10:00 hours equals to “05/07/06,22:10:00”
Factory default is “02/01/01,00:00:00”
Notes:
<time> is retained if the device enters the Power Down mode via AT^SMSO.
<time> will be reset to its factory default if power is totally disconnected. In this case, the clock starts with
<time>= “02/01/01,00:00:00” upon next power-up.
Each time the Multi-Tech wireless device is restarted it takes 2s to re-initialize the RTC and to update the
current time. Therefore, it is recommended to wait 2s before using the commands AT+CCLK and AT+CALA
(for example 2s after ^SYSSTART has been output).
This command is not PIN protected.
This command is supported in airplane mode.
