7.16 ATS8 Set Number of Seconds to Wait for Comma
Dialing Modifier
Description: No effect for GSM. This command specifies the amount of time, in seconds, that the DCE
shall pause, during signaling of call addressing information to the network (dialing), when
a “,” (comma) dial modifier is encountered in a dial string.
Syntax: Read Command: ATS8?
Response: <n>
OK
Write Command: ATS8=<n>
Response: OK
ERROR
Parameter:
<n> This value can be stored with AT&W and can be displayed with AT&V.
0 DCE does not pause when “,” encountered in dial string. Default. (This is the factory default value
and can be restored to '0' with AT&F).
1...255 Number of seconds to pause
Notes:
• This command is not PIN protected.
• This command is supported in airplane mode.
7.17 ATS10 Set Disconnect Delay after Indicating the
Absence of Data Carrier
Description: This parameter setting determines the amount of time that the TA remains connected in
absence of a data carrier.
If the data carrier is detected before disconnect, the TA remains connected.
Syntax: Read Command: ATS10?
Response: <n>

Write Command: ATS10=<n>

Number of tenths of seconds of delay
001 - 254 Default is 2 (This is the factory default value and can be restored to '2' with AT&F).
