Still Running Intuit Eclipse?
If you click Disconnect in the Eterm taskbar while you are stilled logged in to Eclipse or in the
process of logging in to Eclipse, Eterm prompts Still running Eclipse? and asks for
confirmation.
To log off properly, from the System menu select LogOff. This logs you off Eclipse and
disconnects you from the host system.
When to Use Select and Extended Select
The Select edit function allows you to select text and screen elements from any Eclipse screen.
The Extended select function allows you to select text in Eclipse word processing or view
function screens (screens or text boxes with scroll bars). Use the Keyboard command from the
Eterm Help menu to determine whether the currently selected screen is a word processing or
view function screen.
Saving a Debug Record
You can save the contents of the Debug screen to a file, which you can then send to Intuit
Eclipse Support either on a diskette or through electronic mail.
Note: You must have Enable Debug in the Configure Communications dialog
box selected to display the Debug screen.
1. From the Debug screen, use Ctrl-Alt-Page Down to open the Save Debug Record dialog
box.
Note: If another application on your computer uses the Ctrl-Alt-Page Down key
sequence, you will not be able to save the debug record until you disable
that application.
2. Enter a file name, such as TestDebug.
3. Click Save.
Eterm saves the file in the directory specified by the dialog box.
