Enable Edit – Select this option to click Edit from the Eterm menu bar. Clicking Edit
allows you to activate the different selection, copy, and paste commands.
Select one of the following:
Auto Connect – Causes Eterm to attempt to connect with the host automatically
whenever Eterm is run. Select this option, except when utilizing Auto Dial.
Auto Dial – Causes Eterm to display the Dial dialog box automatically whenever
Eterm is run.

Use Control C for Break – Select this option to specify a different key sequence for
terminating the Eclipse application if it hangs. The normal Ctrl-Break key sequence that
Eclipse uses does not function properly on NT computers. AIX computers respond to
both the Ctrl-C and Ctrl-Break key sequences, although Ctrl-Break is more reliable.

Fonts
Select one of the following fonts to change the size of the Eterm window:
Raster 10x18 (for 800x600 or greater displays).
Raster 7x12 (for 640x480 or greater displays).
Eclipse (Eterm resizes automatically).
Eclipse Bold (Eterm resizes automatically).
Full Screen (use Alt-Enter to switch back to the previously selected size).
Colors
Displays the Configure Colors dialog box allowing you to change the colors used for different
Intuit Eclipse screen elements.
Mouse Buttons
Opens the Configure Mouse Buttons dialog box, where you can assign key commands to the
second and middle mouse buttons.
Sounds
Selects the device to play the Eclipse message tune: Windows sound card, computer speaker, or
no sound.
Password
Displays the Password Configuration dialog box, where you can set or change a password to
prevent unauthorized users from changing the Eterm communications configuration.
