• Password – The password can be the same as your Eclipse password. If you use a

different password, be certain to commit it to memory! The system prompts you to

enter the password a second time for confirmation.

8. Select the time zone.

9. If you get an error indicating that a license is not available, then the client licenses you

have purchased have already been assigned to other users.

You must either remove another user’s license or buy more licenses. See the VSI-WIN

User Administration document.

10. If desired, copy the VSI-WIN Send Icon to the desktop.

To install VSI-WIN from the network:

1. Copy the &CD-ROM\windows\english\vsigold.exe file from the CD-ROM to

somewhere on the PC's hard drive, and then share the file out.

2. From the networked PC without the CD-ROM drive, find the PC that has the vsigold.exe

file on the network, and copy the vsigold.exe file to this PC's hard drive.

3. Execute the vsigold.exe file and complete the installation as described in steps 3 through

7 in the previous procedure.

To install VSI-WIN from a floppy diskette:

1. On a PC with a CD-ROM, do the following:

• Insert the VSI-FAX CD-ROM.

• Open Windows Explorer (right-click on Start, then select Explore).

• Start vsigold.exe, as follows:

• In Explorer left pane, locate and expand the CD Drive (click the +) to show the

subfolders.

• Expand the Windows subfolder (click the +).

• Click to open the English subfolder.

• In the right pane, double-click vsigold.exe.

• Open Windows Explorer and in the left pane, find and open the \tmp folder.

• Copy each of the following files displayed in the right pane to a separate floppy

diskette:

• disk1

• disk2

• disk6

2. On the PC without the CD-ROM drive, insert the disk that contains the disk1 file and run

setup.exe from it.

3. Proceed with the installation from step 3 of the CD-ROM instructions above.
