ON, if your slave is a laser printer.
OFF, if your slave is a dot matrix printer.
Select Continue and press Enter to save your changes.
Select Reconnect and press Enter.
3. For Ethernet Connections using IP addressing, do the following:
In the Term ID field, enter your ID as it appears on the Terminal Setup screen in
Eclipse.
Note: It is important to type your ID exactly as it appears on the Terminal Setup
screen, including capitalization where appropriate.
Select Continue and press Enter to save your changes.
Select Reconnect and press Enter.
You do not need to fill in the Term ID field if you are connecting serially.
Note: If you cannot print, see Troubleshooting Individual Printers.
To configure Eterm communications for an Ethernet computer running Eterm for
Windows:
1. From the Eterm menu bar, select Configure > Communications to open the Eterm for
Windows Configure Communications screen.
2. In the Term ID field, enter your Eclipse user ID.
The value of the User ID field should match what you set in the ID column of the
System > System Files > Terminal Setup screen.
Note: It is important to type your user ID exactly as it appears on the Terminal Setup
screen, including capitalization where appropriate.
3. Click OK to save your changes.
4. From the System > System Files menu, select New User.
This is necessary for the changes to take effect.
5. Log back into Eclipse to check your changes.
