Configuring TCP/IP Parameters Using HP JetAdmin Windows
Software
The following procedure includes general configuration instructions.
To configure TCP/IP parameters using HP JetAdmin Windows software:
Note: The following information is provided as a general overview.
1. Run HP JetAdmin.
2. Be sure TCP/IP is set as the default protocol in HP JetAdmin. Select Options >
Preferences > Default Protocol and choose TCP/IP.
3. Press F5 on the keyboard to refresh HP JetAdmin.
4. Choose Device, then New.
5. Select the HP JetDirect LAN hardware address from the list in Network Browser.
6. Choose Configure.
7. Fill in a description if desired. The Name field cannot be filled in, as it is used for
IPX/SPX.
8. Choose Next and set the TCP/IP parameters as needed.
9. Choose Next, then Finish.
10. Close the Network Browser and exit HP JetAdmin.
