Remember that Settings apply to Items in Groups that are found on different Menus.

EXIT Press SEL while pressing SHIFT to exit Menu mode.

GROUP

Prints the next Group in the Menu. Press GROUP while pressing SHIFT to print the

previous Group.

ITEM

Prints the next Item in the Group. Press ITEM while pressing SHIFT to print the

previous Item in the Item in the Group.

SET

Prints the next Setting for an Item. Press SET while pressing SHIFT to print the

previous Setting for an Item.

Prints a copy of all the Menu settings. Press PRINT while pressing SHIFT to print

the current settings for selected Group.

Menu Light Glows when the printer is in Menu mode.

Okidata ML520/ML521

The following information regarding the Okidata ML520/ML521 Turbo was obtained from the

Okidata web site (www.okidata.com).

Using Menu Mode

Press and hold down the SHIFT control panel key while pressing the SEL key to enter Menu

mode.

In Menu mode, the control panel buttons, as illustrated below, take on the functions as labeled

immediately below the button. Use these functions to change the printer parameter defaults. Any

changes you make in Menu mode are saved when you exit Menu mode, and remain even if you

turn the printer off.

Remember that Settings apply to Items in Groups that are found on different Menus.

EXIT

Press to reset paper out alarm. Press SEL while pressing SHIFT to exit Menu mode.

Press SEL while pressing LF on power up to reset Menu to factory defaults.
