Okidata ML320/ML321 Turbo

The following information regarding the Okidata ML320/ML321 Turbo was obtained from the

Okidata web site (www.okidata.com).

Using the Control Panel

Use the front panel buttons, as illustrated below, to operate various printer functions.

Following are descriptions of the panel buttons:

SEL Select/deselect the printer. Press SEL while pressing SHIFT to enter Menu mode.

SHIFT

Press and hold down while pressing another control panel key to engage the

alternate function of the key (primary functions are noted above the line on the key;

alternate functions on the bottom of the key). For example, press SEL and SHIFT to

enter Menu mode.

Move the paper up one line. Press and hold for repetitive line feeds. Holding down

LF while powering up the printer activates the Font Test.

FF/LOAD

Load/eject a single sheet of paper. Press and hold for continuous form paper or to

feed the next page.

TEAR Move continuous-form paper up for tear-off or back down for printing.

PARK Retracts continuous-form paper from the path.

QUIET

Turns Quiet Mode on or off. Holding down QUIET while powering up the printer

activates the Rolling ASCII Test.

QUALITY

Selects the print quality and font.

CHARACTER

PITCH

Selects the character pitch. Press CHARACTER PITCH while pressing SHIFT key

to reset the printer clear the buffer.

Using Menu Mode

Press and hold down the SHIFT control panel key while pressing the SEL key to enter Menu

mode.

In Menu mode, the control panel buttons, as shown below, take on the functions as labeled

immediately below the button. Use these functions to change the printer parameter defaults. Any

changes you make in Menu mode are saved when you exit Menu mode, and remain even if you

turn the printer off.
