Description This function block is able to perform a tuning calculation selecting the best method
according to the process conditions. The possible algorithms are the “
Step
Response
” or the “ Natural Frequency ” (please refer to the specific documentation),
and the FB selects the first if the PV is far from the setpoint more then 5% (at the
moment of the run command), or the second in the other cases. It works together a
P.I.D. block with which shares the inputs and the outputs from and for the process.
