Administration Screen
The Administration Screen sets up the network addressing of the MultiAccess, communication with the
SMTP name server, and defines the time stamp for the MultiAccess.
Administration Screen Field Definitions
Field Name Values Description
IP Configuration Fields
IP Address n.n.n.n The IP address of the MultiAccess.
Subnet Mask n.n.n.n This subnet mask is the subnet for the network to
which the MultiAccess is connected. A subnet
mask is used in conjunction with the IP address
to determine if a data destination is on the same
immediate network or not. The default value,
often used, is 255.255.255.0.
Name Server The IP address of a local DNS server.
Default Gateway n.n.n.n Address used to route calls out of the immediate
network.
Secondary Name Server n.n.n.n The IP address of a backup DNS server, which is
typically at a separate location.
