Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementofallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercoverand
reconnectcables.Dependingonthepartsyouinstalledorreplaced,youmightneedtoconrmtheupdated
informationintheSetupUtilityprogram.RefertoChapter7“UsingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage89.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrewsareleft
insideyourcomputer.See“Locatingcomponents”onpage12forthelocationsofvariouscomponents
inyourcomputer.
2.Beforereinstallingthecomputercover,ensurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectly.Keepcablesclearof
thehingesandsidesofthecomputerchassistoavoidinterferencewithreinstallingthecomputercover.
