3.17 Warning About the Flashing of Terminal Adapter Ports
New versions of firmware for the TA ports on the ISIHI or ISIHP card are issued from time to time. When new
TA-port firmware is issued, that code must be "flashed" into the ISIHP/ISIHI card. If the "Flashpro" program is
used to flash new firmware versions, the user should flash odd-numbered TA ports only.
For each odd-numbered port selected, the program will flash an odd/even pair of ports (that is, both B-
channels of the ISDN connection are flashed on a single command). So, when COM3 is selected to be
flashed, COM4 will also be flashed. Do not flash the even numbered ports separately.
Warning! Attempting to flash odd and even TA ports separately will result in damage to the software.
Damaged ISI cards must be sent back to MultiTech for repairs.
