The parameters presented on this menu are pre-set at the
factory. They should be altered only by expert users.
When you select IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION from the
CMOS
Setup Utility
menu, this screen will appear:

This setup menu allows you to save time in finding the Hard
Disk Drive information, just follow the following steps:
1. Select the “IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION” from the main
menu.
2. After a couple of seconds, the screen will appear with the
Hard Disk information and the following message will appear:
“SELECT PRIMARY MASTER OPTION (N=SKIP):N”
3. Enter Y or N to confirm the acceptance of the parameter
reported by the BIOS, then press the ENTER key.
The process will repeat again for the Primary Slave, Secondary
Master and Secondary Slave Hard Disks.
