FAX MANAGEMENT
Field Description
Time Server Status This is the status of the time server currently in use. It also shows error messages.
Status Description
Disabled Time server likely set to None.
Synchronizing FaxFinder is currently synchronizing with the time server.
Synchronized at FaxFinder last synchronized with the time server at the specified
[date/time], offset ±nn date and time. The offset, if any, indicates how much FaxFinder
seconds adjusted its time.
Failed to synchronize: Time synchronization failed due to the error shown.

SIP Register Status When Use Registrar is checked in the Fax Configuration > SIP settings, this shows the status
of FaxFinder connecting to the registrar for SIP call routing.
Printer Status
Printer Status Current status of each printer set up in System Configuration > Printers.
Network Share Status
Network Share Status Current status of any network shares set up in System Configuration > Shares.
Checking Channel and Fax Status
Use the Fax Status page to view the current state for each channel. It includes the status of any inbound or
outbound faxes. Users can immediately send or abort outbound faxes. Administrators can also reset channels.
To view a status, click Status & Logs > Fax Status.
Field Description
Channel Status
# Sequential channel number receiving a fax.
State Current channel state: Idle, Waiting for Ring, Sending, Receiving, Connected, Hanging Up
and Busied Out.
Pages Total number of pages a channel has sent or received during current fax transmission.
Fax Dialed fax number.
Modulation Appears when you point to an active channel. Channel's modulation.
Baud Rate Appears when you point to an active channel. Channel's current baud rate.
ECM Appears when you point to an active channel. Shows if Error Correction Mode is on or off
for the channel.
Line Encoding Appears when you point to an active channel. Line encoding set for this channel.
Resolution Appears when you point to an active channel. Resolution used to transmit the page.
Vertical scan line types include fine and standard.
Remote ID Appears when you point to an active channel. Identification received from the remote
connection.
