BASIC FAXFINDER CONFIGURATION
5. Select Enter Recipient Info from the Find Recipient list.
6. Enter 123-456-7890 as the Fax Number.
7. Enter some text in the subject and comments fields and click Send Fax .
Checking Test Results
After sending the test fax:
1. Click Status & Logs > Fax Status. You should see sending on one of the channels and receiving on another
channel.
2. Click Inbound Fax Log. Inbound Fax Log indicates if the email was sent successfully.
3. Click Details for the fax to view a popup showing where FaxFinder sent the fax.
4. Check the Admin email inbox or the default destination you entered to see if the test fax was delivered.
If the email is not delivered within five minutes, refer to Troubleshooting
Configuring SIP and T.38
Configure SIP and T.38 with the parameters required by your IP network.
1. Click Fax Configuration. SIP/T.38 is the default page.
2. Enter SIP and T.38 parameters as required by your network.
3. Click Save.
Restoring SIP and T.38 Factory Defaults
To restore the factory settings for SIP and T.38, click Defaults. Note that factory defaults may not work with your
network.
SIP and T.38 Parameters
Field Description
SIP
Transport Protocol SIP call setup messages are transmitted using UDP.
SIP Proxy/Gateway Enter the IP address of the SIP device that FaxFinder will communicate with when sending
faxes. It can be a SIP proxy, SIP Gateway or IP PBX.
SIP Domain Enter the SIP domain into the box, if required.
Firewall Address Enter the IP address of your firewall so that FaxFinder can send and receive faxes through
your network.
Authorization Check this if the SIP proxy or the registrar requires authentication to communicate with

Username If you checked Authorization Required, enter the required username.
Password If you checked Authorization Required, enter the required password.
Confirm Password Re-enter the authorization password.
Local Port Enter the local port used for SIP. Default is 5060.
