• Specifically list the equipment serviced that is similar to the equipment specified
in Exhibit A-1, Equipment List
References may be contacted and verified by the CDCR. Only service technicians
meeting the above criteria shall perform equipment maintenance, inspection and repair
services on the equipment listed herein. Apprentices or trainees are not acceptable to
use under this Agreement. References that cannot be verified may result in the
disqualification of the bidder or cancellation of the contract.
V.
NON-EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICES
The Contractor shall provide unlimited visits for non-emergency repair services
requested by the Contract Liaison or designee and as necessary to keep equipment fully
operational. Repair services that are not provided during regularly scheduled
maintenance visits, or not covered by the Guarantee section as specified herein, shall be
paid by the CDCR at the Contractor’s Repair Hourly Rate, specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate
Sheet. Any parts requiring replacement shall be replaced in accordance with the Parts
Replacement Section specified herein.
Non-emergency repair services shall be provided upon first notification from the
Institution Contract Liaison or designee. The Contractor shall respond to requests for
non-emergency repair service within twenty-four (24) hours. The Contractor shall
provide the requested services on the dates specified by the CDCR or within five (5)
working days of request.
The CDCR may, at its discretion, allow access to the equipment during non-business
hours when necessary. Non-emergency repair services performed outside of normal
business hours as specified herein must be approved in advance in writing by the
Institution Contract Liaison or designee.
The Contractor shall make every attempt to complete non-emergency repairs the same
working day. Unless the non-emergency repair requires parts that must be ordered, no
repair may take longer than five (5) working days to complete. When a delay in repair
will occur due to parts that must be ordered, written notification shall be presented to the
Institution Contract Liaison or designee immediately.
VI.
EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICES
The Contractor shall provide all necessary emergency repairs upon request from the
Institution Contract Liaison or designee. The Contractor shall respond to requests for
emergency repair within one (1) hour of telephone notification by the Institution Contract
Liaison or designee. The Contractor shall provide each participating institution with a
twenty-four (24) hour telephone contact for emergency notification. The Contractor shall
be on site to perform emergency repair service within four (4) hours of telephone
notification by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee.
Emergency services provided by the Contractor, if at the specific request of the CDCR,
will be charged at the Contractor’s Emergency Call Hourly Rate as specified in
Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. All emergency repair service provided shall be completed the
