Services shall include, as applicable, but not limited to: cleaning, oiling, lubrication,
adjustment, calibration, alignment, timing, replacement of any filters, and operational
testing of each piece of equipment, furnishing all necessary lubricants, cleaning
supplies, filters, and testing equipment, and provide any necessary repairs and parts
replacement. All parts requiring replacement shall be replaced in accordance with the
Parts Replacement section as specified herein.
Services shall be paid as specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet.
Dates of service shall be as determined by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee
upon approval of the contract. The Contractor shall provide the requested services on
the dates specified by the CDCR or within five (5) working days.
In the event, the Contractor finds any equipment or components that are not in good
working order, while performing inspection and maintenance or repairs; the Contractor
shall immediately report findings, verbally, to the Institution Contract Liaison or designee.
Within twenty-four (24) hours of findings, the Contractor shall submit a written report,
along with recommended repairs to the Institution Contract Liaison or designee and/or
Correctional Plant Manager II (CPM II).

ANNUAL SERVICES
The Contractor shall provide visual inspection of overall condition of the engine,
radiator and generator. Check for foreign objects, loose or broken fittings, guards
and components.
1. AIR INDUCTION AND EXHAUST SYSTEM
a) Air Filter Service Indicator (note reading)
Inspect for proper operation.
Reset indicator
b) Air Inlet System
Inspect piping and air filter housing for damage, loose connections and
evidence of leaks.
Check condition of housing seals and gaskets.
c) Exhaust Manifold
Inspect for damage, loose or missing hardware, and evidence of exhaust
leakage.
Inspect for oil slobbering.
d) Exhaust System
Inspect silencer and piping for damage, corrosion or leakage.
Check condition of rain cap.
Check supports for vibration damage and loose connections.
