INVITATION FOR BID ANNOUNCEMENT

TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDER:
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is continuing to work with
the Department of General Services (DGS) to streamline the contracting process and reduce
State costs. The CDCR places selected bid packages on the California State Contracts
Register’s (CSCR) new eProcurement (eP) system. To learn more about the new
eProcurement (eP) system and how to register, which is required to download bid packages
please go to
http://www.eprocure.dgs.ca.gov/vendors.
If you are already a registered vendor and would like to go to BidSync directly please go to
http://www.bidsync.com. By going online prospective Bidders may view and download a copy of
the bid package and addenda, if applicable.

The CDCR will be accepting bids for Generator Maintenance, Inspection and Repair
Services. The agreement term is July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017.
The CDCR anticipates the publication of Invitation for Bid 6000001312 to be available on or
around November 14, 2013. If you are interested in viewing and/or downloading a copy of the
bid package, please access the CSCR at the above-referenced web link. This date is set forth
for informational and planning purposes only and is subject to change.
A list of alternative access services that are available for businesses is enclosed. The CDCR
will continue to provide a hard copy of the bid package upon request if the alternative services
do not meet your needs.
Bidders interested in contracting with the CDCR are encouraged to frequently check the CSCR
for other contracting opportunities.
