9 What to do if?
The transmitter does not switch on.
Cause
Solution
Batteries / rechargeable batteries are
empty.
Insert new batteries or charge the
rechargeable battery, see section 3.2
“Inserting batteries / rechargeable
batteries” on page 56.
The required distance is not bridged in the range check.
Cause
Solution
Possibly, the position of the receiver
aerial is not optimal.
Increase the distance of the receiver
aerial from electrically conducting
components.
The model cannot be steered.
Cause
Solution
The receiver is not bound.
Perform the binding, see section 3.4
“Binding” on page 57.
Batteries / rechargeable batteries are
empty.
Insert new batteries or charge the
rechargeable battery, see section 3.2
“Inserting batteries / rechargeable
batteries” on page 56.
The binding cannot be performed.
Cause
Solution
There is too much distance between
transmitter and receiver.
Reduce the distance to 20 cm or less.
