Example 2: Coll. pitch curve phase Cruise
(linear, symmetrical coll. pitch curve for identical reac-
tions during climb and descend)
The ROYALevo offers a 6-point coll. pitch curve. The
advantage of such a curve is: Not too many points to
adjust. “Flat“ curve for hovering in normal and reversed
flight possible.

Adjustment of the throttle curve is done in the menu H
Control/Throttle. Each flight phase can have a
separate curve with 5 points to adopt the curve to each
individual phase. The goal is to stabilize the RPM count
for the system in all situations.

Example 2: Throttle curve, phase Acro
(symmetrical, V-shaped throttle curve to increase throt-
tle in normal and reversed flight)
Throttle curve for Autorot(ation)
The flight phase named Autorot (pase 4 as standard,
highest priority) has a fixed throttle position (“safe” idle
with open clutch or motor OFF) for the training of auto-
rotation landings.
The points P1 ... P5 can’t be adjusted separately. Chang-
ing one of the points will affect all the others too.
Parameter Min. (Idle)
Throttle limiter
The parameter Min. determines the RPM count, if the
throttle limiter is set to min. or idle (to start the motor).
The parameter is independent of the flight phase.
The horizontal dotted line in the diagram shows for all
phases the position of the throttle limiter. The throttle
value is limited and no higher throttle can be achieved,
independently of the flight phases:

TIP:
To adjust the carburettor (parameter Min.) move the
throttle limiter to idle. Changing the Min. value moves
the dotted line and makes the value visible in the dia-
gram.
