Extra switch connections switch or push-button
This also determines the name by which the switch is
addressed in the transmitter software. The Extra
Switch can be used as a transmitter control (e.g. re-
tract switch, spoilers, …) or as a simple switch (e.g.
flight phases, …).

The Extra Switch has priority!
The Extra Switch has priority over the physical con-
trols P, K and the stick switch KSw (Î 9.5.). The con-
trol element installed in the transmitter for the Extra
Switch can be left in the transmitter, but the software
ignores it.
Example: 2-position switch for retracts
Once the switch is installed and connected to the ABC
terminals, the procedure is as follows:
1. Assigning the Extra switch

message, then select

Confirm with ENTER.
2. Assigning a control for retracts (landing gear)

Open by pressing ENTER, confirm the warning
message, then move the stick switch
(Quick-Select):
L. gear KSw #*
and confirm with ENTER.
3. Assigning a servo for retracts (landing gear)

Select desired servo (e.g. Servo
9), open by press-
ing ENTER:
9 L. gear UNI 2P
then confirm with ENTER.
Select
UNI or MPX as signal format,
confirm with ENTER.
Select
2P, as only the two end-points are of inter-
est for servo travel settings,
confirm with ENTER.
4. Reversing the servo and adjusting the
end-points
Main menu:

5. Set the transit time if required

e. Using the second stick button
If one stick button is already installed, the second
must be connected to the terminal clamps BC.
The button connected at this point must be allocated
as
Extra Sw. K> or <P in the software before it can
be assigned as a control or switch.
Tip:
Assign it to
<P if the button is in the left-hand stick,
and
K> if it is in the right-hand stick.

The assignment for Extra Sw. applies to all
the assignment lists. Any switch installed at K or
P and connected to the corner unit is disabled
once you have assigned the Extra Sw.
