Starting from the trim centre position, the maximum
trim range is twenty increments in both directions. The
trim increment (step, or adjustment rate) can be set to
any of four magnitudes (0.5%, 1.5%, 2.5%, 3.5%) (Î
15.4.2.).
! Note regarding increment size and trim range:
the number of steps remains the same even if
you change the size of the trim increment,
with the result that both the trim range and
the absolute trim value also change! This
means: if you alter the trim increment size,
you must remember to re-trim the model.
The current trim value is displayed in graphic form on
the screen, but can also be read off as a numeric
value for each transmitter control (Parameter Trim Î
15.4.1.).
The type of graphic display can be selected in the
Status screen (Parameter Trim graph (Trim graphic)
Î 14.1.4.).
Tip!
Resetting the trim to Centre:
Simultaneously pressing both trim buttons for any
stick axis resets the trim for the currently active flight
phase to Centre. This also applies to throttle trim.
