FLAP+ Flap
When the transmitter control Flap is
operated, the camber-changing flaps
move up or down together in order
to alter the camber of the wing sec-
tion for optimising the wing for
thermal and speed flying:
trv' = Flap deflection, e.g. up
for speed flying
trv# = Flap deflection, e.g. down
for thermal flying
Set the values in such a way that the
airfoil camber of the flaps and ailer-
ons is even over the full wingspan
Spoiler
When the transmitter control
Spoiler is operated, both the cam-
ber-changing flaps deflect down
together to act as a landing aid:
offs = Offset for flap servos (see
notes below on calibrating
the AILERON+ servos for
four-flap gliders)
trv = Aileron deflection when
spoilers are fully deployed
When ailerons deflect up and flaps
deflect down in response to the
Spoiler transmitter control, the re-
sult is what is known as the Butter-
fly or Crow landing system
Aileron
Maximum setting of camber-
changing flap travels (opposite di-
rections) when the transmitter con-
trol Aileron is operated:
trv' = Deflection of both flaps in
one direction (e.g. up)
trv# = Deflection of both flaps in
the other direction (e.g.
down)
If asymmetrical travels are selected,
aileron differential (set using
Ail.Diff.) can be adjusted to main-
tain the deflection of the camber-
changing flaps, or to set them inde-
pendently of the ailerons if neces-
sary.
This mixer input is switchable if a
physical switch is assigned to it. For
example, the input can be switched
on for aerobatic flying to enhance
aileron response
Ele -Tr
When the elevator stick is operated,
both ailerons deflect up or down in
order to amplify the elevator effect
for aerobatics (“snap-flap mixer”):
trv' = Aileron deflection when
down-elevator is applied
trv# = Aileron deflection when
up-elevator is applied
This mixer can be switched off and
on at any time using the Snap-Flap
switch
V-TAIL+
*
Elevator
trv' = Control surface deflection
for down-elevator
trv# = Control surface deflection
for up-elevator
Rudder
trv' = Control surface deflection
for rudder in one direction
(e.g. up)
trv# = Control surface deflection
for rudder in the other di-
rection (e.g. down)
Spoiler
Elevator trim correction for Spoiler
(airbrakes):
pt1 = Elevator compensation for
half-deployed spoilers
pt2 = Elevator compensation for
fully deployed spoilers
Flap
Elevator trim correction for Flap:
trv' = Elevator com
p
ensation for
(e.g.) Thermal setting
trv# = Elevator compensation for
(e.g.) Speed setting
Thr -Tr
Elevator trim correction for throttle
(motor):
dead = Dead-zone / from which
point does elevator cor-
rection take effect?
trv = Elevator compensation for
full-throttle
* only appears if V-TAIL+ is active
