19. Main menu Memo I
The main menu Memo is started by pressing this but-
ton:
I
This menu is used for managing model memories. It
contains the following functions:
Setting up a new model (memory)
Selecting, copying, erasing a model (memory)
Unlocking and locking flight phases
Interrogating and modifying the characteristics of
the model memory
Modulation
Selects one of the two operating modes
FM/PPM or FM/M-PCM,
sets FAIL-SAFE in FM/M-PCM transmission mode:

19.1. Selecting a model memory
In this menu you select the model memory, i.e. the
model you wish to work on.
In the main menu Memory choose the Select model
point.
A list of all model memories is now displayed:

Use the 3-D digi-adjuster to select the model which
you wish to fly (or set up).
Press the 3-D digi-adjuster or the ENTER button to
confirm your selection and execute the memory
switch.
Note: Throttle-Check when you change memories
( 14.1.2.)
If you have activated Throttle-Check (Check Thr.) in
the menu ¡Setup, Transmitter:
Check Thr. ON
the software checks whether the throttle control is in
the Idle position when you switch to a different model
memory.
If so, the transmitter switches to the selected model,
and one of the four Status displays appears.
If not, you will see the warning message:
! NOTE !

Move to idle
throttle release
In this case you can either move the throttle control to
the Idle position, or skip the warning message by
pressing the REV/CLR button.
! Caution!
If you press a button to “unlock the throttle”, even
though the throttle control is not at the Idle position,
you run the risk of injury or damage should the motor
burst into life unexpectedly.
19.2. Copying a model memory
In the main menu ¦Memory activate the Copy point.
The first step in this menu is to select the model
memory which is to be copied.
The screen now displays a list of all model memories:

Selecting the source (the model to be copied):
Use the 3-D digi-adjuster or the / buttons to se-
lect the model which you wish to copy. This can also
be the currently active model (marked with x).
Confirm your selection by pressing the 3-D digi-
adjuster or the ENTER button. The model’s name is
now highlighted on the screen, and a c appears at
the end of the line for copy.
Selecting the target memory:
Use the 3-D digi-adjuster or the / buttons to shift
the selected model to the target memory. The high-
lighted model name and the “calso move.
Press the ENTER button or the 3-D digi-adjuster to
confirm the copy process.
a. Target memory vacant
The model data is copied into the selected target
model memory, and the model name is also adopted.
b. Target memory occupied by a model
To ensure that you do not accidentally overwrite an
existing model, this situation generates a request to
confirm the overwrite process:
Copy over existing
model?
Yes->
No->ENTER
If you now press the REV/CLR button, the existing
model data is overwritten by the copy of the selected
source memory. Pressing ENTER interrupts the copy
process.
