Using buttons H and M for Timer functions:
There are two methods of using the buttons “H” and
“M”. One of the two modes is activated according to
the mode of operation you set in the Switch field at
the assignment stage:
1. Change-over (toggle) “…”:
Press button = timer runs
Press button again = timer stops.
2. Momentary “„”:
Press button = timer runs
Release button = timer stops.
18.3.2. Summary: Timer 1 µSlot
Effect
For active model only,
the current status when the transmitter is
switched off is not stored.
With alarm 0:00:00:
Effect as Sum timer, but without stored
value when switched off
Start at alarm

stick) is first operated

or in Status display 3 (Timer)
Range
Variable alarm: 3:30:00 (3 h 30 min)
Time (upwards): 4:30:00

The single beep identifies the timer as Timer 1, Slot
18.4. Menu ¥Timer, ´Sum
This timer adds (sums) times. The timer runs con-
stantly as long as the assigned switch is in the ON
position.
Important: Timer status is stored
The timer status (e.g. residual motor run time) is
stored when the model memory is changed or you
switch the transmitter off.
18.4.1. Example: recording motor run time
For this example we assume the following:
The motor is controlled using switch G (throttle
switch for an electric motor).
The full-throttle switch position is forward.
Preparing the Sum timer:
a. Assign the switch ( 14.3.2.)
Menu L, Assignment, Switches, ´Sum:
µSlot ‡ '
´Sum G> '
¶¶Interval --- -
b. In our example the Sum timer continues to run as
long as the switch is at full-throttle (forward).
c. Set the Alarm
Menu ¥Timer, ´Sum, Alarm:
¥´Sum
¨Exit
Time 0:03:24
Alarm 0:10:00
Difference '0:06:36
Switch G> '*
d. Once you have selected the Alarm line, you can
select the number of the alarm by pressing the 3-D
digi-adjuster, and set it by rotating it. Now press
the 3-D digi-adjuster repeatedly until Alarm is
highlighted again. This concludes the set-up pro-
cedure.
The Sum timer can be used in two different modes:
a. Alarm set to 0:00:00
The timer starts at zero, runs upwards, adds the time,
and is stopped and re-started using the assigned
switch.
The timer can be reset to zero by pressing the
REV/CLR button in Status display 3, or in this menu.
In this case there is no alarm.
b. Alarm not set to = 0:00:00
The timer starts at the set alarm time, counts down,
and sounds the alarm when the selected time has
elapsed.
