The screen only displays those timers to which a
switch has been assigned. After the timer the screen
shows the associated switch (in this example: the Slot
timer is controlled using switch “P”):

11.1.1. Using the keypad
The ROYAL SX is programmed using the keypad and
the two 3-D digi-adjusters. There are eleven buttons in
all.

c. Text input buttons
The ten buttons with inscribed letters are used for en-
tering text (name of transmitter owner, model, free
mixers, assignment lists):
Text is entered in the manner familiar from mobile
telephones. The two 3-D digi-adjusters can be used to
select individual characters in the input field.
The characters which can be called up by rapidly and
repeatedly pressing one button are printed in small
script below the direct menu access buttons (row 1)
and above the working buttons (row 2).
