Operation Manual

SELECTING A MEMORY LOCATION
Selecting a memory position between 0 and 9.
SELECTING THE TYPE OF BATTERY
The battery types NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, LiIo, LiFe or PB
(lead) can be selected in this menu.
SETTING UP NUMBER OF CELLS/BATTERY VOLTAGE
Here the number of cells can only be selected bet-
ween 1 and 14 cells for NC and NiMH battery packs.
With the battery types LiPo, LiIo, LiFe and Pb (lead-
acid) you should enter the nominal battery voltage
instead of the cell count.
The following voltages are available to use for lithium batteries:
LiPo LiIo LiFe

the "MODE" button. With this mode, Lithium batteries can be "winterised" and maintained at
a preset voltage. The battery parameters should be carefully set up.
The cut-off voltage has been set as follows:
LiPo: approx.. 3.85 V / cell
LiFe: approx. 3.45 V / cell
LiIo: approx. 3.75 V / cell
Depending upon the voltage state of the battery connected, it will be automatically charged
or discharged until the cut-off voltage has been achieved.
Note: For safety reasons, one should always connect the battery voltage sensor lead
to the charger!
