5. USING THE CHARGER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Connect the Power Peak
®
D7EQ-BIDtoa12Vcarbattery,taking
caretomaintaincorrectpolarity,ortoa230VACsocketusing
the mains lead.
The company name and device name are displayed. The display
then changes, and the "Memory name" menu appears.
Note:
Ifa230Vmainssupplyispresent,thisshouldalwaysbeused,as
efficiency is then higher.
5.1 SELECTING THE MENU LANGUAGE
The Power Peak
®
D7 EQ-BID battery charger features a multi-
lingual menu system.
If you wish to change the set language, press the "STOP / ESC"
button to select the "USER SETUP" menu (user settings).
Pressing the "START / ENT." button marks the "LANGUAGE"
parameter.
Use the "+" or "-" button to select your preferred language.
Press the "START / ENT." button to set the new language.
