4. CONTROLS
4.1 FUNCTION OF CONTROLS
• "+" AND "-" BUTTON
The "+" and "-" buttons are used to navigate within a menu as well
as to increase (+) and decrease (-) the value of a setting.
1. +
The arrow symbol scrolls down line-by-line until the
required line is marked. Within the menu the values
for the charge and discharge parameters are increased
by one increment.
2. -
The arrow symbol scrolls upward line-by-line until the
required line is marked. Within the menu the values
for the charge and discharge parameters are decreased
by one increment.
3. Holding one of the buttons pressed in automatically increases
the
parameter value.
• "START / ENT" BUTTON
1. Pressing the button within the line marked with an arrow
selects a parameter (value
is now highlighted - dark background).
2. A long press takes you to the Select menu.
Once a function, e.g. CHARGE, is selected, it can be started.
3. During an active process the graphic display or the
data display can be called up by pressing the button.
• "STOP / ESC" BUTTON
This button is used to navigate through the main menus in the
following sequence:
1. Battery selection, and charge / discharge parameter program-
ming
(MEMORY NAME) or display of BID chip / key data, if a
BID chip or key is connected (BID SYSTEM).
2. Basic settings (user settings).
• Cycleprocesscharge/dischargedata
(CYCLE DATA).
4. Pressing the button ends the charge or discharge process.
5. Acknowledgement of error message.
6. Cancelling a marked parameter.
