• Small screws to fix line jack sockets to wall/skirting board
• Cable ducting, if required
• Up to four approved telephones of the Multi-Frequency (MF) type
• Master Line Jack Socket (to public exchange).
* This installation kit is required to complete the installation of the Multi 4. It
can be purchased as a comprehensive kit with the Multi 4 or separately from
an appropriate supplier.
If the public exchange line does not terminate in a Master Line Jack
Socket, your local telephone authority will connect one for you.
Site Requirements
Ensure that all of the following site requirements are adhered to:
• Avoid locations that will expose the MULTI 4 to excess heat, dust,
excessive humidity and especially, damp and condensation, e.g. do not
install the MULTI 4 in bathrooms.
• Avoid locations that are close to other electrical equipment such as motors
or switch gear.
• Do not install extension sockets within 50mm of ac mains sockets,
neither must it share ac mains wall socket boxes.
