GUIDELINES FOR INSTALLATION
1) Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified persons in
accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated
construction.
2) The unit should be securely mounted in a rigid framework. Note: allowing
the fan frame to flex or move will result in undue vibrations and possible
pre-mature motor or fan blade failure.
3) Connect the power to the motor using an approved wiring method.
4) Before activating the fan, double check to ensure that there are no obstruc-
tions (framing, packaging, debris, cord) which could interfere with proper
fan operation.
5) Ensure proper installation/removal of condensation plug—see diagram.
6) Use liquid tight fittings and conduit.
7) When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring
and other hidden utilities.
8) If fan is used to inflate advertising tubes ensure placement will not interfere
with traffic flow, hinder visibility or come in contact with overhead power
lines.

1) Verify fan/motor is capable of variable speed operation before attaching
speed control devices.
2) Installation instructions for fan and controller must be followed carefully.
All warranty rights and conditions are considered null and void when a low
