DESCRIPTION AND USE
The MULTICOAT SPEED BOND CRACK
REP
AIR SYSTEM is a unique two component
waterbased polyurethane material. SPEED
BOND is used to r
epair cracks, holes, and
depressions prior to the application of Krete
Kote, Slatex or Scratch Kote Systems.
SPEED BOND is also an excellent anchoring
material.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All cracks larger than
1
⁄16" in width must be
opened with a crack chaser to a minimum of
1
⁄4" in width. Once opened, all cracks must be
cleaned by sandblasting, waterblasting or
water sandblasting.
NOTE: Cleaning out prepared cracks may be
done in conjunction with substrate
preparation (See Krete Kote / Slatex
Systems).
APPLICATION
Fill properly prepared cracks with SPEED
BOND material. Backer rod or sand should
be placed in cracks where depths are

⁄8". Inject SPEED BOND
material into crack, level with the surface of
the substrate. (Note: Follow dir
ections on the
car

efully when using material).
After dispensing, immediately spread SPEED
BOND flush with deck surface using a plastic
spreader. Allow to harden 30-60 minutes
(depends on ambient temperature) then
grind SPEED BOND material to lightly abrade
surface.
Now you are ready to coat over the repaired
crack(s) with MULTICOAT Products and
Systems.
