MEA1060 Amplifiers
MEA1060 Amplifiers can be ordered with any gain and bandwidth configurations by the user's choice. The name specifies the configuration. The first number after the microscope type specifies the gain, followed by the lowest frequency, and followed by the highest frequency.
For example, MEA1060-Inv-5000-300-3000 stands for a MEA1060 amplifier for inverted microscopes with a gain of 5000, and 300 Hz to 3 kHz bandwidth. MEA1060-BC operates software-controlled and features a blanking circuit that prevents stimulus artifacts.
MEA1060 amplifiers are available for inverted microscopes and upright microscopes, MEA1060-INV and MEA1060-UP, respectively. **= MEA1060-UP amplifiers were optimized for upright microscopes, but can also be used for inverted microscopes, provided that the focal plane is
compatible with the microscope objective. This is useful whenever an excellent accessibility of the MEA from the top is required. With an MEA1060-UP, the MEA culture chamber is the only limiting parameter for accessibility. The opening in the base plate of the amplifier is circular and
hemispherical to follow the dimensions of an objective. The largest opening at the bottom is 35 mm in diameter.
MEA1060 Amplifiers are for use with two-dimensional 60-electrode microelectrode arrays (MEA). MEA 96-Well Amplifier is for use with 96-well plates with integrated recording electrodes (QT-Well plates).
