you want to set. (For more information on S-Registers, see Chapter 6, Terminal Adapter

X0 Enables messages OK, CONNECT, RING, NO CARRIER, and ERROR (terse
result codes 04).

and 32). If a call is placed to a busy line, NO CARRIER displays.
X2 Enables all messages (terse result codes 05, 7, 1014, 1719, 28, and 32).
Z Reset to Stored Profile
Values: none
Default: none
Resets TA to its current power-up profile and clears the command buffer. The result is the
same as turning the TA off and on. When you type ATZ, the state of the &W command
determines where default values originate. &W0 defaults come from the customized
configuration in NVRAM, and &W1 defaults come from the factory default configuration
in ROM. Because Z clears the command buffer, it must be the last command in a
command string; normally it is issued by itself: ATZ. Note that whereas the &F0 reset
command always restores the factory default profile, the Z reset command restores either
the factory default or the stored profile, depending on how the &W command is set.
