Step H: Check the Knee Block

Position

Proper knee block position is

critical for correct column tilt.

Refer to figure 13.

Measure from the center of the

knee block clamp (1) to the

bottom edge of the column

pivot (2). This is A in figure

13.

Acceptable ranges for the

previous measurement (A):

OMNI 1: 3.5 to 5.5

OMNI 2: 4.5 to 6.5

If the knee block clamp is

within the acceptable range for

your OMNI size, no adjustments are necessary.

To adjust the knee block clamp position: Loosen the two allen screws

(3). Slide the knee assembly along the main column. When you have

positioned the knee block clamp within the acceptable range, tighten

both screws.
