Measure from the center of the knee block clamp (1) to the bottom edge of the column pivot (2). This is A in figure 13. A 2. Acceptable ranges for the previous measurement (A): OMNI 1: 3.5 to 5.5 OMNI 2: 4.5 to 6.5 3 3. If the knee block clamp is within the acceptable range for your OMNI size, no adjustments are necessary. 4.
ADJUSTMENT OVERVIEW The separate and combined adjustments are critical to the effectiveness of the Standing Systems. The therapist is encouraged to try various adjustment combinations to find the optimal position for weight-bearing, tonal balance, and head-righting. It is further recommended that an ongoing adjustment schedule be identified to meet the needs of physical growth, reduction, or increase in postural support and weight-bearing activities. Adjustments: 1.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS Measurements: The following measurements are required for proper fitting: 1. Heel to the iliac crest (hip bone): _______ This will be the distance from the footplate to the top of the hip support on the stander. 2. Heel to axilla (under arm): _______ The distance from the footplate to the top of the trunk support on the stander. 3. Heel to the lowest point on the patella (knee cap): _______ The distance from the footplate to the middle of the knee block. 4.
MAIN COLUMN ADJUSTMENT Refer to figure 15. For measurements see Fitting Instructions. Note: Never make any adjustments with the child in the stander. 1. Measure from the middle of the knee block to the foot support plate (Adj. 1). Raise or lower the footplate to the correct height (measurement 3). Loosen the two inner allen screws on the footrest mounting bracket (1). Slide the foot support along the main column. Tighten the screws. 2.
