1. Determine the direction of opening

• If you need to reverse the direction of the latch, locate Phillips screw behind the latch. Unscrew until

you are able to rotate the latch to the other side.

• Retighten latch screw

1. The following items are needed to complete this task:

• A lock (latch/deadbolt combo)

• A spindle to go inside the lock and the handles

• Two lever handles - one for each side

(unless there is xed handle on one side)

• Cylinder lock with key

• Two cylinder covers with screws - one for each side

• Set of keys

• accommodate hinge pins

1. Insert key into cylinder lock

• Make sure the lock

mechanism is lined up

1. Place lock through the cylinder opening and the latch, which is previously inserted in the door

• Adjust the cylinder with the key until it ts properly within the lock

• Test with keys to make sure the cylinder controls the latch and deadbolt

• Put in a set screw to hold the cylinder in place

1. Locate the hole where latch and lock will be inserted
