Instructions: Installing a Hinge Post

1. Once hinge posts have been securely fastened to the wall, use two people

to guide the door onto the hinge pins.

1. Once completely lined up, push the gate down to secure and close hinge gaps.

Instructions: Hanging Door

1. Check the hinge post and make sure it has:

• Pre-drilled holes for mounting screws. If not, there should be one at every 18 in. increment

• Plastic sleeve inserts and insert them on hinge post and door to accommodate hinge pins

1. Make sure the hinge post is level and mount it to the wall with the proper screws

(self tappers or wood screws with anchors)

• If they are mounted to walls, make sure it is anchored properly.

• If they are mounted to metal posts, use the self tappers.
