1.3 Prior to installaon
• Priortoinstallaoncheckboltlockingdirecon.
• Verifythattheboltisinopenposion(boltinsidethedoor,unlocked).
• Rotateadaptortailpieceoppositetotheboltlockingdireconunlstopped.
• Verifythatthewideteethispoinngup.Ifnotrotatetheexternalringunlthe
wideteethwillpointup.
1.4 Unit installaon
Warning:Donotaempttooperatetheunitunlassembledintothedoor
• Removeknobscrewusing1/16"Allenkeyandtaketheknobout.
• Useaatscrewdrivertoremovethecover.
• RemovebothAllenscrewsenrelyandremoveinternalmechanism.
Note:Whileremovingtheinternalmechanismsecuretheoutsidecylinderfrom
falling.Considerusingmaskingtapeorsimilar.
