Installation Instructions
Can-Am Commander
Upper Rear Fender Installation
1049 CAN-AM COMMANDER
5) Using a 1/4" drill bit and a
cordless drill, carefully drill the
first hole (as shown in Figure 7).
Insert (1) 3/4" bolt with a washer
and a lock-nut on the back side.
6) Tighten the hardware in the
sequence shown in
Figure 7.
The rest of the hardware can be
installed at your discretion.

Note: After the hardware is placed
though the holes, it may be necessary
to move the spring clamps to any area
where you may have a gap. Tighten
the hardware when you have
achieved the best possible fitment. It
may also be necessary to adjust the
fender while tightening the hardware.

1) Chock the front tires and
jack up the rear end of your
vehicle (be sure to use jack
stands to securely support
the vehicle while you work).
2) Remove the rear wheels.
3) Place the rear fender up
against the lip located in the
inner fender well. Use
spring clamps the hold the
fender into position. See
(
Figure 5).
4) Before proceeding to step 5,
Look for any large gaps on
the outside of the fender
(
Figure 6). You may need to
remove the fender and re-
shape it to match the angles
of body. It may also help to
use additional spring clamps
to close any remaining gaps.
