Installation Instructions
Can-Am Commander
Front Fender Installation

1) Verify that your
vehicle does NOT
have factory
fenders. If your
vehicle does have
factory fenders, this
kit will
not fit.
2) Mount the front
fender bracket on
the inside of the
factory M6 bolt as
shown in
Figure 1.
Install an M6 lock-
nut onto the back of
the bolt to secure
the bracket.
Note: It may be necessary
to bendthe bracket before
proceeding to Step 3.
3) Insert the nose of
the front fender into
the front fascia as
shown in
Figure 2.
The notch in the front
fender will help you
align the fender into
the correct position.
4) Insert (1) 1x1/4”
bolt with a large
washer through the
hole and into the u-
nut on the bracket.

5) Remove the
hardware
located on the
inner wheel well
(The factory
torx bolts are
secured with a
10mm lock-nut
on the inside of
the cab).
6) Place the fender
flare up against
the body as
shown in
Figure
3
, add a washer
to each bolt, and
finger tighten
them allowing
for adjustment.
7) Apply upward
pressure to the
bottom of the fender
to reduce any
possible gaps and
then tighten the
hardware down. It
may help to have a
friend assist you
with this step.
Note: It can be helpful to
remove the bolt from
Figure 2 if
you’re having difficulty
adjusting the fender. The
front of the fender flare
can be bent upward and
inserted behind the front
fascia after the fender
has been adjusted.
