7.3.1 Crankcase breather – Oil separator check
Preconditions
☑ Engine is running.
Checking oil separator
Note: A thin oil film is admissible.
1. Check oil separator for damage and exces‐
sive oil discharge (arrow).
2. Replace oil separator if it is defective
(→ Page 119).
