Specimen installation and other station activities
When you create tests with the TWE application, you typically minimize the Station Manager application
to simplify your PC desktop. However, before you run a test on a physical specimen, you typically restore
the Station Manager application to perform certain station activities
The activities you perform with the Station Manager application varies with your station and test setup, but
typically includes:
• Set limit levels and actions for detectors
• Position the actuator to install the specimen
• Apply offsets
Station Controls Panel
Most of the controls you use to perform pre-test activities with the Station Manager application can be
accessed from the Station Controls panel.
