14. If your specimen has failed, clear the interlocks and skip ahead to step 16.
15. Clear the displacement interlocks, and slowly apply a tensile force to retract the actuator.
If the specimen doesn’t separate immediately from the force train, stop when the tensile force equals
1% of your current operating range.
