Introduction About the Series 658 Environmental Chamber The MTS Series 658 Environmental Chamber was engineered for compatibility with MTS Model 810, and Model 858 Bionix, and Mini Bionix load frames. It has an acrylic chamber and its transparent walls allow easy viewing when nonopaque fluids are employed in the test. The walls are compatible with the relatively moderate temperatures typically employed in simulating the biomaterials service environment. Model 658.25 Model 658.
Mounting brackets and clamps on the base of the Model 658.25 chamber provide for easy installation and height adjustment. The chamber attaches directly to the load frame columns. The base of the chamber is equipped with a lip and serves as a catch basin for minor test medium spills. Mounting of the model 658.07 uses an attachment kit that installs directly onto the pull rod.
