1. Adjust the load frame to allow adequate room to install the
specimen into one grip.
2. Rotate the levers to open the rollers.
3. Insert the specimen between the rollers of one of the grips.
4. Rotate the lever to clamp the specimen.
5. Adjust the load frame to position the grips so that the specimen is
between the rollers of the other grip.
6. Rotate the lever to clamp the specimen.
Grip Maintenance
Clean the grip assemblies to remove any dust or particles that may
scratch the surfaces.
