Optional: Installing an Extensometer
For illustrative purposes, the MTS STH ASTM A370 Tension (Extensometer – Actuator) test is used here
to demonstrate extensometer setup. Skip any of the following steps that have already been completed
earlier or by another technician.
1. For safety, turn the pump off.
2. Connect the extensometer to the extensometer cable.
