Because this Example Spring Test is a compression test, you should set the actuator to 20% extension
which, for this example, is -21 mm. For more information, see Positioning the Crosshead and Actuator
for the Test (p. 79).
Install Fixturing
To mount the load cell and platens and set fixturing parameters:
1. Ensure that you have a complete Reference Specimen Kit.
